Dr. Michael Mehrain
President, Mehrain Naeim International, Inc.
Dr. Mehrain served as vice president and Structural Engineering Department manager of AECOM, URS and Dames and Moore for over 30 years. He was the president of Mehrain Naeim International, a firm specializing in state-of-the-art earthquake design consulting. Dr. Mehrain was responsible for the development of analysis procedures in ASCE 41, and ATC78/FEMA P2018 "Seismic Evaluation of Older Concrete Buildings for Collapse Potential”. He is a recipient of the 2019 SEAOSC "Engineer of the Year" and "SB Barnes Research" awards.
